The pressure of the modern world tries to break everything. Not everything breaks.

Some things compress instead — layer by layer, force by force — until what was once living becomes something harder. Something permanent. The form changes. The presence doesn't.

This painting is about that process. The fractured, outlined forms are not shattered — they are compressed. Reorganized by pressure into something that will outlast the force that shaped them.

Built in acrylic with defined black outlines over deep crimson, brown, and earth tones, the surface reads like geological strata — ancient, stratified, and still moving in slow time.

Survival doesn't always look like resilience. Sometimes it looks like stone.
